Last night my son went out on the deck just before dark and he heard a noise so turned to look at a young bull moose about 20 paces away. The moose started to come towards the deck so he closed the door and got my camera. Unfortunately the young bull was travelling quickly on those long legs of his so by the time the camera clicked he was about 1/4 of a mile away. I was able to bring the picture a little closer by cropping it but it's pretty fuzzy. There's never a dull moment here on the farm. Well that's not true really, but we sure have been seeing a lot of wildlife lately.

OMG, first bears, and now a moose. What exciting visitors you get.
ReplyDeleteThe picture was good enought to tell what it was. The picture in your header is a really good one. Trish
ReplyDeleteYIKES! I haven't seen a moose for years - very scary to think of this little fellow on the road.
ReplyDeleteWhat interesting wildlife neighbours you have, makes the sheep & cows around here seem pretty tame.
